Threaded 90° Elbow

Usage of Threaded 90° Elbow
The threaded 90° elbow of UPVC is used to connect UPVC pipes to galvanized pipes and other threaded fittings. Unlike the 90° salvent cement elbow, one end of this product must be connected to a pipe or fitting that has a thread or a rib on its surface. Since this product has an internal rib, it is recommended to use Teflon tape for better sealing. This product is currently available from size 20 to 110 and its working pressure is 16 bar in all sizes.
Note that the ribbed head of the 90° elbow has an internal rib; therefore, parts that have an external rib can be connected to the pipes through the UPVC straight elbow. For complete and reliable sealing of this connection, sealing tape or Teflon tape is generally used.
